J'aime bien cette carte, elle est assez représentative de la vision mentale du monde par un français moyen. :)
Par contre pour la france, je pense qu'on a en tête des contours un peu plus précis.
Et il faut pas oublier deux petits points pour Monaco et Andorre.

Pour l'Afrique, je pense quand même qu'on distinguerait les pays du Maghreb, mais pour le reste, c'est représentatif.

This is the good time for a Good news, bad news moment.Good news (for me): I'm on vacations! Vacations! I didn't have more that 5 days straight since… March! Vacations! Yeah! Vacations! Doing nothing! Nothing! Yeah!
Bad news (for you): I forgot my graphic tablet! So there is no way I can do a Geek's world. I don't have a scanner either. Hey, I don't even have internet, I must use the dialer and work on 56kb and only one a day.
Maybe I'll draw and scan a strip for Friday, but that's not for sure.
Anyway, I'm in luck. I had the idea to do a fun map, and I also just received a Mail from Holken so you'll have a DBZ strip. I'd be very happy if the Dragon Ball hater would shut up.
The world as seen by the French
Many maps we already have on the net, show the world as seen by Americans. So I wanted to do one too, as seen by the French. There is no 'real' humor on it, I'll explain my view here.We French people know that Europe is a small part of the world, and France is very small also. But, hey, not that small.
We know well Europe... we think. There are many countries in Europe, but in the out world, not that much. Africa is one country, like USA.
Asia is not made of many countries, we know that all yellow people are in China or Japan. China is big. You don't put a billion people in a small place.
I've meet more that one guy thinking that Africa was a big island. That's true it's not holding to the rest on much.
So for the right part: Russians on the top, drinking. The country is very long, because we know Napoleon retreated 'cause it was so long. Then Asians who make electronics, and, as it appears, textiles. Indians with their temples, and.. some part is missing.. I guess it is the "Irak" people talk about. If not it must be in Africa, they're black people.
And way down, Australia. We know they exist because of Artley Cœur à Vif. They are Americans but with kangaroos. Way up, must be ice or something. I think the Nuclear Tests where made here, cause there is no one here.
On the left, we have of course USAs, that are very big. They need lot's of space to park the Cadillac's. Up the Canadians, like Americans but better, after all some of them speak French. That's for North America, where rich people are. On South America, people with sombreros, people who play football, and other Indians with temples. Except Esteban destroyed many of them. Each time he, Zia and Tao went to a temple, it finished destroyed.
By the way, the map in Street Fighter 2, you know ? It took me ages to understand it was a real map but on Japanese view: Europe on left and America on right! I thought it was a pretended world.
